12th Aug 2012. The Debate Club organized a discussion on the theme “FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in Indian Retail Market is going to boost the rate of employment” on the occasion of International Youth Day on 12th Aug. 2012. About 20 students participated in the discussion held in the Lecture Theatre D in the evening 6-7:30pm on 12th Aug. The discussion was coordinated and guided by Dr. Anil Tewari, Dr. Varun Tripathi and Mr. Pabitra Kumar Jena. Also, the faculty members exhorted the students to conduct such creative activities frequently to utilize the non-teaching hours in the best possible way. It is conspicuous that the United Nations’ (UN) International Youth Day is celebrated on August 12 each year to recognize efforts of the world’s youth in enhancing global society. It also aims to promote ways to engage them in becoming more actively involved in making positive contributions to their communities.
